Syncrosome Viviana PhD 270x300 - Syncrosome hired a new colleague for its Cardiovascular dpt

Syncrosome, a  Preclinical CRO specialized in in vivo efficacy experiments, is pleased to welcome Dr Viviana Delgado Betancourt as our new Cardiovascular Study Director.

Viviana brings to the table several years of experience acquired over the courseof her thesis/PhD that focused on cardioprotection against Ischemia-Reperfusion injury by heart rate reduction and parasympathetic nervous system inhibition. She is specialized in in vivo and ex vivo models of acute Ischemia-Reperfusion injury, and has worked, in the past, on genetically modified mouse models for heart rate reduction and elevation.

Viviana ’s aim will be to develop our Cardiovascular Department using our expertise in rat models for Heart failure and Ischemia-Reperfusion injury, and also implement new models for acute and chronic Ischemia-Reperfusion injury in rats and mice. New devices such as a Vivid 7 Ultrasound System will be internalized in orderto applyechocardiographic studies to the cardiovascular and respiratory fields.

Viviana and all the Syncrosome team will happily respond to all your requests, questions or comments!
